This is another shot that I took while I was in Baja. My son and I got to go out one morning and fish for yellow tail. We caught a few, and had a great time. See my paintworks site for purchasing information on this work.

"Streets of Loreto"

"Streets of Loreto" Watercolor 8"x8", price $175.00

I was invited to teach a series of workshops to a watercolor group in Loreto, BCS Baja in 2011. When I was between workshops, I greatly enjoyed biking around the little town of Loreto and finding pictures of things I could paint some time. Here was one shot I took. I like the morning shadows, and the view of the Sea of Cortez in the distance.  I would like to go back again sometime.  Note also a few examples below of some of the steps of the painting.
