"Almost Tulip Time"

"Skagit Valley Afternoon" watercolor, 8x12, $245.00
Original No Longer Availabale

I will never forget the first time I visited the Skagit Valley north of Seattle, WA. I went to partake of the Tulip Festival. I sold some art there and in the morning and afternoons, I would sneak out and catch the sun on the tulips in the fields. Some of the fields were so stunning in colors of tulips It was almost fake. I took so many photos. If you have never been, you need to go, watch the website they have and go when the tulips are in bloom. It is quite a site to see. In 2009 I had the honor of painting the official Skagit Valley tulip festival Poster, I featured my son in the poster picking tulips, and we both got to go and sign the poster together, it was pretty neat. see the poster below. If you want to buy a poster from me see my website.
