"U" is for Upland Game Bird... pheasant

I have seen these guys hanging out at my place. So I ran with the idea as "U" for upland game bird. They sure are beautiful birds, especially with their nice long tails.

DAY 20 PAINTING: "The Tree in My Pasture"

"T" is for Tree.

We have this tree in our pasture. I think it is a beautiful tree, or was a beautiful tree. Last fall, unfortunately, a big windstorm busted off the left side major branch. So now the tree looks really goofy. The best thing about it now is that my longhorns have quite a few branches stuck in the ground to scratch up against, and some new shady spots have formed for them to snooze under. I like this hotel in-room painting, much less distractions than home, and NHL hockey finally on TV... also ya gotta like the fast internet! Cheers.
